Overview

Quick-Clip is an aluminum belt mount for PAX card readers. It lets staff carry a card reader hands-free and grab it in one motion — no more readers left on counters or dropped mid-shift.

[Add one or two sentences on who it's for and where it's sold.]

The problem

[What was wrong with how people carried card readers before? What did you notice that made you build this?]

What I did

Designed the mount in SolidWorks, machined the first units myself, and iterated on fit and finish until it was ready for retail.

[Add detail on the design iterations, machining process, tolerances, finishing, packaging, and how you got it into stores.]

Outcome

Sold in stores across multiple states, and entered in the 2026 James Dyson Award.

[Add numbers if you have them: units sold, number of retailers, states.]
